This is no. 2 in my Unmapped limited edition series.  
 
These works were 'freestyled' on the loom - simply making up the colour choices and design row by row.  It is such a wonderful way to work.  I lay out my whole range of colours in front of me and just have fun.  
 
Colours - deep apple green into light green (looking like sun or movement in grasses), before a splash of orange and deep cerise before heading into a blue gradient sky. 
 
It was designed and woven on my 8 inch Mirrix Chloe Loom using pure wool. I used 4 fine threads of wool on my needle to enable colour blending.
 
Size : The textile image is 5” x 5". The wall mounted white frame is 11” h x 11.5” w x 1.25” depth (or 28 cm x 30cm x 3 cm)
 
The tapestry has been carefully hand sewn and mounted onto cotton board. It is purposefully left without any glass over it.
 
Care - a gentle dust of the frame occasionally. Note: do not place tapestries in a kitchen or bathroom.
