'By the Lingering Light’ is a beautifully coloured sunset piece next to the ocean. 
 
I added pinks and terracottas to this scene. Pink ‘Sea Thrift’ flowers were placed next to the cottage. I want it to bring a sense of peace and calm to the viewer. 
 
It was designed and woven on my 12” Mirrix Chloe Loom using pure wool. I used 4 fine threads of wool on my needle to enable colour blending. 
 
Size : The textile image is 5” x 5". The wall mounted white frame is 11” h x 11.5” w x 1.25” depth (or 28 cm x 30cm x 3 cm)
 
The tapestry has been carefully hand sewn and mounted onto cotton board. It is purposefully left without any glass over it.
 
Care - a gentle dust of the frame occasionally. Note: do not place tapestries in a kitchen or bathroom.
