'River of Dreams’ is a beautiful landscape abstract using a limited palette of colours. 
 
It was designed and woven on my Saffron Mirrix loom using pure wool.  I wanted to capture an image which makes you see what you want to see - especially in the distance. I used 4 fine threads on this piece. I can create subtle changes in colour by changing one of the threads for a slightly lighter colour. 
Colours - blue/grey river and sky with hints of white. The land is a lovely yellow with the tree line a forest brown with hints of deep green. 
 
Size : The textile image is 5.5 x 6". The wall mounted white frame is 11” w x 11.5” h x 1.25” depth (or 28 cm x 30cm x 3 cm)
 
The tapestry has been carefully hand sewn and mounted onto cotton board.  It is purposefully left without any glass over it.  
 
Care - a gentle dust of the frame occasionally.  Note:  do not place tapestries in a kitchen or bathroom.
